Run number 1877: 22 June at 5pm

Hare: Mike Rust

Location: The Wild Food/Game Restaurant near Wat Phaya Suren, Sai Mai

As the hare was given an award for last year’s run he will attempt to underwhelm everyone with a different run. It is a remote restaurant please bring song sheets! Direction to Wild Food or Game Restaurant near Wat Phaya Suren.  (rat cake ... rat sorbet ... rat pudding ... or strawberry tart with a little bit of rat in it - and maybe some RATatouille! ed).

Driving down Sukhumvit towards Bang Na. Pass Soi 71 then get in the left lane and at the top of the bridge take the left exit onto the Chalong Rat Expressway, sign-posted Ramintra. Continue north for some 17.5kms passing over Lat Phrao and Ramintra. Just after passing over Ramintra you will pass-by but not through a tollgate.

Zero odometer parallel to  tollgate.

(If in a taxi note the Km reading on the meter and get ready for some maths) After 7.3km get into left lane. At 7.4 kms take the very small exit signed Chatu Chot road. Continue on this road alongside the expressway until you reach a T junction at 8.2kms. Turn right, drive 97m and turn left. Zig-zag twice under the outer ring road and you are now on the service road parallel to the outer ring road. After a further 1.5kms, At 10.3, bear left off the service road (you should see a large speed limit sign). Proceed 500m and at 10.9 park somewhere on the road near the small restaurant on the left.

For Nonthaburi men: Zero odo going over Viphavadi Rangsit at Laksi Plaza on Chaengwattana Road. Proceed on Ram Intra for approximately 7kms and turn left near Soi Watcharaporn on to Chalong Rat expressway north. Go through toll gate and follow readings from above.
