Friday evening :
Informal pay-your-own-drinks&food get together at Brick House Inn (great Thai and Western food & wide choice of drinks) on Samphan Thamit Alley on Google aka Sumpuntamit Road, Mak Khaeng. (Google Location link above)
Saturday afternoon :
Bus leaves Samphan Thamit Alley at 2pm. Run starts around 3.30pm Runs are A-A, A-B and A-B-C have mixed terrain but involve no mountain climbing.
Walk : approx. 3.5 km - first half following same route as below runs - slight elevation - no obstacles - around lake.
Medium run : approx 7 km around lake, in light forest, along rice, tapioca and sugarcane-fields, a river and canals.
Long run : approx. 12 km - first 7 km same as medium run with drink stop at km 7 - thereafter mostly flat dirt farms roads beside rice and sugar cane fields - into the sunset to the final ON IN and circle.
Runs start approx. 45 km from city center in the country side of Udon Thani province. Transport from city center (Samphan Thamit Alley area) to run site, circle, to On On On dinner and back to city center by chartered bus. On On dinner will have a menu choice of Thai and Greek food. Transport will take Walk and Medium runners to the final ON IN circle then everyone to the dinner and back to town.
Sunday run :
10am start from Samphawat Alley (Brick House/Pannerai Hotel location) Approx. 6 km A to A “city” run (compared to Bangkok, Udon Thani does not have tall buildings, traffic jams, etc) almost all on quiet roads with little traffic, lakeside trails and surprisingly good countryside vistas. Completely flat.

THB 1000 all in (transport, run, circle, OnOnOn and supplies).
Sunday :
There may be a small run fee.
Accommodation :
It is suggested that you stay at a hotel or Guest House on or near Samphan Thamit Alley which is Udon's central location.

By rail there are 3 daily departures in each direction :
